Unidentified White Female Found June 20, 1979 in Watts Township, Perry County
Vital Statistics Estimated Age: 15 to 30 years old Estimated Height: 5'2" to 5'9" Estimated Weight: 125 lbs, petite build Hair Color: Light brown to blonde, medium length, may have been curly. Distinguishing Characteristics: Fractured left 9th rib, partially healed at midshaft. Clothing: Tan, long sleeved, button up shirt with two breast pockets (one that zippered closed),
blue tank top;
white lace blouse with button-down front and 3/4 length sleeves;
blue wool pants with red thread running through the fabric; white or tan bra ("A" Cup); red & gray argyle kneesocks; white leather buckle-type shoes (inside stamped "G48175 1973"), estimated at size 8 1/2 ". Jewelry: Silver buckle chain bracelet on right arm (Avon brand);
a black ribbon onyx ring; two sterling silver, Indian type oblong rings with Turquoise stones with matching teardrop stud earrings;
thin chain necklace with turquoise pendant. Estimated time of death: Several months to a year prior to being found. Dentals:Available DNA: Available in CODIS Isotope Information: may have grown up in the Great Lakes region or possibly southern Canada. She may have visited the southwestern USA in the months prior to her death.
Case Details The victim's remains were found along Route 322 eastbound, over an embankment near the Juniata River. The location is roughly 16 miles west of Harrisburg.
